Design your own Star Wars™ hero.

Who would you be if you were a character from Star Wars?

A Twi’lek bounty hunter? A Wookiee Jedi Knight? Or maybe an Ewok with fighter-pilot skills?

Here’s your chance to find out. Unleash your creativity as you build your personal and unique Star Wars Hero.

Visitors of all ages explore their own identities and learn about the forces that shape them in this exciting character design quest.

Equipped with a smart technology bracelet, every visitor is invited to respond to a series of identity questions at interactive stations throughout the exhibition. These character-design stations are interwoven seamlessly with the exhibition’s collection and scientific content and form the backbone of the exhibition experience.

Each answer given along the identity quest is one step in the creation of a complete character profile.

Visitors view the final result—their new and unique Star Wars character—for the first time at the end of the exhibition, and can request to receive a more detailed version of the character profile by email, which can then be consulted from home or shared using social media platforms.

Identity

Who are you? And how did you get that way?

STAR WARS Identities invites you to discover yourself. Who are you? Where do you come from? What makes up your identity? Renowned scientists from the fields of psychology, neuropsychology, biochemistry and genetics have divided the exhibition into the three areas: ‘origin’, ‘influences’ and ‘decisions’. These in turn are split into 10 components that explain the essence of the Star Wars heroes and your personal identity. You will then also answer the 10 personality questions which tie into these elements:

Origins

Species:

What kind of creature are you?

Genes:

What were you born with?

Parents:

How were you raised?

Culture:

What planet are you from?

Influences

Mentors:

Who do you look up to?

Friends:

Who do you hang out with?

Events:

Which experiences had an impact on you?

Choices

Occupation:

What do you do?

Personality:

How do you behave?

Values:

What’s important to you?

In the exhibition you can find out the role these factors play in the formation of our identities in short videos and through excerpts from the Star Wars films. At the end you have to decide: Do I belong to the light side or the dark side of the Force? Am I more like Anakin or Luke Skywalker?
